Kita Das

Kita reads fiction for Overland Literary Journal and has previously edited creative non-fiction for Southerly Journal. She received first-class honours in English Literature from UNSW and the prize for best performance in Creative Writing. Kita has presented research at conferences in the United States, Australia and New Zealand and currently works on transnational autofiction. She has also previously managed LOST IN BOOKS, a multilingual children’s bookshop, community hub and safe space for women. As an artist, she has exhibited work at UNSW Galleries, Paddington and at Stanley Street Gallery, Darlinghurst.

Ol James

Ol is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing and English Literature, casual academic, and guest lecturer at the UNSW. Ol has worked as the Reviews Editor at Southerly Literary Journal and an Editorial Assistant / Fiction Reader at Overland. Ol has had short stories and poems published in leading literary journals such as OverlandSoutherlySeizure, and TEXT. Ol has had novels long listed for major awards such as the KYDUMA, has received government funding to produce plays from Create NSW and screenplays from Screen NSW, and has performed / produced self authored original work at major theatrical venues.
